THE DISORDERS OF COAGULATION
Hemophilia: it is a serious hereditary disease, resulting in an impossibility for blood to clot.
Platelet dysfunction (risk of bleeding): Hereditary platelet dysfunction can be subdivided into five groups. In most cases, longer and / or longer bleeding times will be observed.
Platelet function may be affected by taking commonly used medications:
- Aspirin (ASA) and other drugs that contain it
- Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as indomethacin, ibuprofen, and naproxen
Other drugs that may affect platelet function:
- Some antibiotics
- Some medicines for the heart
- Some medicines to “clear up” the blood
- Some antidepressants
- Some anesthetics
- Some antihistamines
Platelet function returns to normal when these medications are stopped.
Von Willebrand disease: refers to any genetic hemorrhagic disease caused by a defect in the quantity, structure or function of a factor involved in the initial phase of the coagulation process.
Liver function disorder: consequences, protein synthesis of cells including blood clotting factors are not good. Risk of hemorrhage.
Severe iron deficiency:
Iron is indeed a vital nutrient, necessary – among other things – for hemoglobin to transport oxygen to all cells in the body. A decrease in oxygenation of the skin will pose a problem to healing.
Syndrome and / or Raynaud’s Disease: circulatory disorder which, in the case of Raynaud’s syndrome, may be associated with scleroderma (autoimmune disease). It may cause healing delays and will require good hydration of the skin.
apart from the direct consequences of certain autoimmune diseases. Clients with this type of illness should not be tattooed. The immune system is already altered, we will avoid soliciting more under pain of seeing a disproportionate reaction or inappropriate on the tattooed area.
For two reasons, the first coming directly from the difficulty of the kidneys to detoxify the blood, resulting in a greater risk of infection; the second is that kidney failure can cause anemia and thus coagulation problems.
There are no studies comparing the frequency of vibration of dermographs with the onset of an epileptic seizure. Nevertheless, it is good to know if a client is epileptic in order to be able to react in case of crisis.
Even if you think that a thorough health questionnaire could scare your customers, remember that it remains a sign of seriousness on your part and that protects you and your client.
